Couples at every stage of their relationship enjoy beautiful photographs that preserve their memories, record special moments, and document milestones. Perhaps you both just said “I love you” for the first time and want to capture how those giddy moments early in your relationship. When you’ve decided to make a commitment, we can record the moment in a beautiful, natural setting so you can concentrate on making your promises to each other in a proposal or a wedding ceremony.

Our experience in the Utah wilderness gives us unique perspective on the locations, the light, and the practical considerations of outdoor couples portraits. Joe learned backcountry skills in a public outdoor education high school, a setting he later returned to as a teaching assistant. Victoria earned a BFA in photography. During her studies, she documented ornithologists working in the field. She later worked in positions in Utah national parks and with the Bureau of Land Management.
